Process
1. You will be assigned a group by your teacher. Each group will be assigned a Native American Tribe by your teacher. The tribes are listed below:

2. You will decide as a group which role you would like to assume durning your research. Each student should have a different role.
Nutritionist: a person who studies or is an expert in nutrition (You will research and learn about what the tribe ate, hunted, how they prepared their food, and anything else you think is relavent).
Architect: a person who designs buildings and in many cases also supervises their construction (You will research the tribes home and landscape).
Fashion Designer: You will study the types of clothes the tribe wore, how they made their clothes, what they made them out of.
Instrument Specialist: a person that studies and knows about the different instruments, tools, and weapons a tribe uses. (You will also learn about different games the tribe may have played or dances).
Historian: an expert in or student of history (You will know about the tribes history and important events that occured during that history).
Geographer: a scholar whose area of study is geography, the study of Earth's natural environment and human society. (You will learn about the area the tribe lived in. You will know about the environment, weather, types of animals and plants that live in the area).

4. Get together as a group and talk about the information that you found.
5. Each of you will be required to complete all worksheets and assemble them into a presentable presentation. Your teacher should have passed out the following worksheetst that need to be completed, but if you need extras here they are. Make sure your presentation is colorful.
Project
You will need to create an artistic project that represents your research role (Food, shelter, clothes, and so on). Use your imagination. You must get approval from your teacher before starting. This will be the only part of this project that will be done all at home. If you need help with materials or ideas please ask your teacher. Some suggestions are: paper models, paper mache, clay, watercolors, dress in the tribes clothes during your presentation, collage, and much more can be done.

F. Essay about the history and important events: Cover page. You will create your 10 questions and answers in this section. Make sure that you answer the questions correctly and in complete sentences. Answers should be accurate, complete, and with all the needed details.
